Interior of a modern educational institution. New School Project
One of the demonstration educational projects is the New School, which was opened in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv.
Olena Dobrovolska worked on the project together with Dream Design Studio. The team developed a creative elementary school.
The main task was to create an object that would radiate a positive, so that children themselves would like to come to school every day, where they will not only gain knowledge, but also learn about the world.
The architects, in fact, managed to make the location such as to change the usual attitude of adults and children to the school, which we used to observe.
"Scoop" rules, repairs, gloomy classes, which for modern teenagers with different thinking, idea generation and emotional intelligence, are a huge demotivator. This is what the school looks like in our understanding.
But few people think that today's children will come to work tomorrow, will distribute jobs and set trends.
They are the future founders of new projects, inventors of unique technologies, famous scientists, designers, builders, singers and deputies. Many adults don't even think that the new generation Z needs to be inspired!
The concept of the New School project is based on inspiration, creativity, positive thinking and freedom of choice.
The interior design of the school is simply incredibly inspiring, because it aims to develop the potential and knowledge of the thinking of young people and Generation Z, which is important for our young country.
Children need proper guidance and examples; their environment raises awareness and helps shape taste and design thinking. Therefore, the school is designed in such a way that it draws children's attention to such important aspects of design as ergonomics and aesthetics.
There are no standard classrooms and tasteless walls in the lobby. Instead, there are many bright elements and hilarious non-trivial images; many ingenious and modern design solutions.
By the way, all materials used for this project are natural and environmentally friendly.
